Synopsis – What to Expect from “American Dreamz”
American Dreamz tells the story of Martin Tweed (Hugh Grant), the host of the fictional television show American Dreamz. Martin is an egotistical and cynical British television producer who has been hosting the show for the past five years and is looking for a way to boost ratings.

He decides to invite the President of the United States (Dennis Quaid) to be a guest judge on the show, and to give the winner a personal invitation to the White House.
Meanwhile, Sally Kendoo (Mandy Moore) is a small-town girl with big dreams of becoming a star. She is determined to win American Dreamz and is willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen. She is coached by her manipulative and ambitious mother (Wendy Malick).
At the same time, William Williams (Chris Klein) is a young soldier who is returning home from a tour of duty in Iraq. He is struggling to adjust to life back in the United States and is looking for a way to find his place in the world.
