Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein is a 1999 direct-to-video horror comedy film directed by Kathi Castillo. The film follows the misadventures of Alvin, Simon, and Theodore as they try to save their beloved town from the mad scientist Dr. Victor Frankenstein and his monster.
The movie begins with the Chipmunks, Alvin, Simon, and Theodore, trying to get to the carnival before it closes. However, they get sidetracked when they meet a mysterious old man, Dr. Victor Frankenstein, who is searching for the perfect monster. He soon finds what he is looking for in the form of a giant, Frankenstein-like creature.
The Chipmunks soon discover that Dr. Frankenstein plans to use the monster to take over the town. With the help of their friends, including a talking parrot, they must find a way to stop the mad scientist before it’s too late.
Along the way, they must also deal with a pesky reporter, a group of bumbling police officers, and a mysterious girl who seems to have a connection to Dr. Frankenstein.
