Synopsis/Plot
All About Steve is a 2009 comedy film starring Sandra Bullock, Thomas Haden Church, and Bradley Cooper. Bullock plays Mary Horowitz, an eccentric and socially awkward crossword puzzle constructor who falls in love with Steve, a news cameraman played by Church. After a disastrous blind date, Mary decides to follow Steve around the country in hopes of winning his heart.
The film follows Mary as she embarks on a wild journey from California to Arizona, Texas, and eventually South Carolina, where Steve is covering a story. Along the way, she meets various quirky characters, including a group of eccentric beauty pageant contestants and a pair of bickering sisters. Despite her awkwardness, Mary’s persistence and enthusiasm endear her to the people she meets, and she gradually begins to gain the confidence to pursue her dream of a life with Steve.
Meanwhile, Steve finds himself increasingly enamored with Mary, despite his initial reservations. With the help of his friends, he eventually realizes that Mary is the perfect woman for him. In the end, Steve and Mary find their way back to each other and live happily ever after.
All About Steve is a lighthearted and heartwarming romantic comedy that celebrates the power of love
