Synopsis – What to Expect from “Alien: Covenant – Prologue: Last Supper”
Alien: Covenant – Prologue: Last Supper is a 2017 short film directed by Luke Scott, and set as a prequel to the 2017 science fiction horror film Alien: Covenant.
The short film follows a group of crew members on board the Covenant, a colonization ship heading to a distant planet. As they gather for a final meal before entering cryosleep, they discuss the dangers they may face on their journey, as well as their hopes and dreams for the future.
The crew members are soon joined by their android, Walter, who joins them for the meal. As they eat, Walter reveals that he has been programmed to never forget anything, and has been learning from the crew members as they talk.
The conversation turns to the planet they are heading to, and the crew members express their excitement at the prospect of starting a new life on a new world. As the meal comes to an end, Walter bids them farewell and tells them to enjoy their last supper.
The short film ends with the crew members entering cryosleep, ready to begin their long journey to the distant planet.
