Synopsis/Plot
Air Bud: Spikes Back is a 2003 American family comedy-drama film directed by Richard Martin and starring Kevin Zegers, Cynthia Stevenson, and Tim Conway. The film follows the story of a young boy named Josh Framm (Zegers) who is a huge basketball fan. After the death of his father, Josh is sent to live with his aunt in Fernfield, Washington. While there, he meets a golden retriever named Spike who has an extraordinary talent for playing basketball.
Josh quickly befriends Spike and together they form a formidable basketball team, the Bulldogs. With the help of Spike and his newfound friends, Josh is able to make it to the city championship game. However, when the game is over, Spike is taken away by a greedy animal trainer who wants to exploit Spike’s talent for his own gain. Josh and his friends must now find a way to get Spike back and save him from the clutches of the animal trainer.
