Agatha and the Truth of Murder is a 2018 British mystery film based on the life of famed mystery writer Agatha Christie. The film follows Agatha as she investigates a murder case in the English countryside.
The film begins with Agatha Christie (Vanessa Redgrave) arriving in the English countryside to investigate the murder of a young woman. Agatha is determined to uncover the truth behind the crime and soon finds herself the target of the murderer. With the help of her trusted friend and confidante, Dr. James Watts (Timothy Dalton), Agatha begins to unravel the mystery.
Agatha soon discovers that the murder is connected to a secret society known as the Order of the Golden Dawn. She discovers that the Order is led by a mysterious figure known as The Master (James Fox). As Agatha investigates further, she discovers that the Order is involved in a much larger conspiracy involving a powerful and dangerous cult.
