Synopsis – What to Expect from “Against the Dark”
Against the Dark is a 2009 horror/sci-fi film directed by Richard Crudo and starring Steven Seagal.
The film is set in the near future, where a deadly virus has wiped out most of the world’s population. The virus has also created a new breed of vampires, and they have taken over the planet.
The protagonist of the film is Tao (Steven Seagal), a former special forces soldier who is now a member of an elite group of vampire hunters. Along with his team, Tao must battle the vampires and their leader, a powerful vampire lord known as The Master.
The team must battle their way through a post-apocalyptic wasteland filled with the undead, while trying to find a cure for the virus and save humanity. Along the way, they must also battle their own inner demons, as they struggle to find a way to survive in this new, dark world.
The team eventually discovers that The Master is planning to use the virus to create an army of vampire slaves, and they must find a way to stop him before it’s too late. With time running out, the team must face their darkest fears and fight against the forces of darkness in order to save the world.
