Synopsis – What to Expect from “Afterburn/Aftershock”
Afterburn/Aftershock is a 2017 action-thriller film directed by Roger Christian and starring Dominic Purcell, Marci Miller, and Nicholas Gonzalez.
The story follows a former US Marine, Jack Harris (Dominic Purcell), who is struggling to make ends meet as a security guard in a small town in Texas. When a powerful earthquake hits the area, Jack is forced to take charge and lead a group of survivors in the search for safety.
Jack and the survivors must battle their way through the rubble of the quake, as well as the chaos that ensues in its aftermath. As they search for a way out, they must also contend with looters, desperate survivors, and a mysterious figure that is hunting them.
With the help of a local journalist, Sarah (Marci Miller), Jack and the survivors must fight their way through the ravaged city and find a way to safety before the aftershocks hit. Along the way, they must also uncover the truth behind the mysterious figure that is hunting them.
The group must use all of their strength and courage to survive the Afterburn/Aftershock and make it out alive.
