Synopsis/Plot
After the Sunset is an action-comedy starring Pierce Brosnan and Salma Hayek as master thief, Max Burdett and his beautiful accomplice, Lola Cirillo. The two have just pulled off their biggest heist ever, stealing the priceless Napoleon diamond from a museum in France. Now, they are living the good life on a tropical island paradise in the Caribbean.
But their idyllic life is soon disrupted by an FBI agent, Stan Lloyd, who is determined to catch them and bring them to justice. Stan is convinced that Max and Lola have hidden the diamond somewhere on the island, and he will stop at nothing to find it.
The film follows Max and Lola as they try to outwit Stan and keep the diamond out of his hands. Along the way, they must also contend with a local crime boss, who is also after the diamond. The stakes get higher and higher as Max and Lola race against time to keep the diamond hidden and out of Stan’s reach.
At its core, After the Sunset is a light-hearted and entertaining action-comedy. It features a great cast, with Brosnan and Hayek bringing a great chemistry to their roles.
