Synopsis – What to Expect from “After Love”
After Love is a 2021 romantic drama film directed by Aleem Khan. It stars Joanna Scanlan, Nathalie Richard, and Tahar Rahim.
The film follows Mary and Boris, a married couple who have been together for over fifteen years. They live in a small, picturesque village in Northern France, where they are both retired. They have a comfortable life, but their marriage is strained. Mary is a former teacher who is now a stay-at-home wife, while Boris is an ex-fisherman who now works as a handyman.
When Boris meets a young woman named Jenny, he is immediately smitten. Mary is not pleased and is suspicious of his newfound interest.
