Synopsis – What to Expect from “Action Jackson”
Action Jackson is a 1988 American action-comedy film starring Carl Weathers, Craig T. Nelson, Vanity, and Sharon Stone.
The story follows the life of Jackson (Weathers), a Detroit auto worker who is also a martial arts expert. After getting fired from his job, Jackson is determined to take revenge on the man responsible for his dismissal, the powerful and corrupt businessman Peter Dellaplane (Nelson).
Jackson teams up with a female cop, Sydney Ash (Vanity), to bring down Dellaplane and his criminal empire. Along the way, they must battle Dellaplane’s thugs, led by the sadistic AJ (Stone).
As Jackson and Sydney get closer to taking down Dellaplane, they must also deal with the growing attraction between them. In the end, Jackson must face off against AJ in a thrilling martial arts showdown.
