Synopsis/Plot
Absolutely Anything is a science fiction comedy directed by Terry Jones and released in 2015. The movie follows the misadventures of Neil Clarke (Simon Pegg), a disillusioned schoolteacher who is granted the ability to do absolutely anything he wants by a group of aliens. Neil quickly discovers that with great power comes great responsibility, and must use his newfound abilities to save Earth from destruction.
The movie also stars the voices of the Monty Python alumni, who play the aliens responsible for granting Neil his powers. Joining Pegg in the cast are Kate Beckinsale, Rob Riggle, Eddie Izzard, Sanjeev Bhaskar, and the late Robin Williams as the voice of Neil’s faithful canine companion, Dennis.
The movie follows Neil as he learns to use his powers responsibly, and deals with the consequences of his actions. Along the way, he discovers the importance of friendship and love, and learns to appreciate the little things in life. The movie is a light-hearted comedy that will leave viewers with a smile on their face.
