Synopsis – What to Expect from “Absentia”
Absentia is a 2011 psychological thriller directed by Mike Flanagan. The movie follows the story of Tricia (Courtney Bell), a woman who is searching for her missing husband, Daniel (Morgan Peter Brown). She has been searching for him for seven years, and is now on the verge of giving up hope.
One day, Tricia discovers a mysterious tunnel underneath her house, and decides to explore it. As she explores the tunnel, she finds a mysterious symbol that she believes is connected to Daniel’s disappearance. She then begins to experience strange visions and nightmares, and she becomes convinced that Daniel is still alive and is trying to communicate with her.
As Tricia continues to investigate the symbol, she meets a man named Keith (Dave Levine) who claims to know the truth about Daniel’s disappearance. He tells her that Daniel is being held in a strange realm called Absentia, and that there is a way to reach him.
Tricia then embarks on a dangerous journey to the realm of Absentia, where she discovers a dark and menacing world filled with strange creatures and mysterious forces. With the help of Keith and her newfound friends, Tricia must battle the forces of evil in order to save Daniel and bring him back to the real world.
