A Troll in Central Park is a 1994 American animated musical fantasy comedy film produced by Don Bluth and Gary Goldman, directed by Bluth and produced by David Kirschner and Paul Gertz. The film follows the story of Stanley, a friendly troll who has the power to bring life to plants and flowers. Stanley is banished to Central Park by the evil troll ruler, Gnorga, who is jealous of Stanley’s magical powers.
In Central Park, Stanley meets Gus and Rosie, two children who have been sent to the park by their parents to get some fresh air. The children quickly befriend Stanley and learn of his magical powers. They also learn of Gnorga’s plan to take over the world and make it an ugly place. Stanley and his new friends decide to take a stand and use Stanley’s magical powers to bring beauty back to the world.
Stanley and the children face many obstacles in their quest, such as Gnorga’s henchmen, the evil Queen of the Fairies, and an army of robotic bugs. In the end, Stanley and his friends are able to defeat Gnorga and restore beauty to the world. However, Stanley is still banished to Central Park, where he is able to use his powers to bring joy and beauty to all who visit.
