Synopsis – What to Expect from “A Sound of Thunder”
A Sound of Thunder is a science fiction action adventure movie released in 2005. The movie follows a group of time-traveling tourists who are taken on a safari to hunt dinosaurs in the prehistoric past.
The main character, Charles Hatton, is a wealthy businessman who is obsessed with the idea of time travel. He has hired a company called Time Safari Inc. to take him and his friends on a hunting trip to the past. While on the safari, they are instructed to follow a strict set of rules so as not to disrupt the timeline.
However, one of the tourists, Travis, fails to follow the rules and accidentally kills a butterfly. This seemingly small act has a disastrous ripple effect on the future, causing the world to become a dystopian wasteland.
Charles and his friends must now travel back in time to fix the damage that has been done and restore the timeline. Along the way, they must battle against prehistoric creatures, mutated animals, and a group of hostile humans from the future.
The group must work together to undo the damage and restore the timeline, or else the world will be doomed. Will they be able to succeed in their mission or will the future be lost forever?
