Synopsis – What to Expect from “A Second Chance: Rivals!”
A Second Chance: Rivals! is a 2019 sports drama that follows the story of two former high school rivals, Calvin and Tyler, who are reunited when they both try out for the same college basketball team.
Calvin and Tyler had a tumultuous relationship in high school, with Tyler being the star of the basketball team and Calvin being the underdog. Despite their differences, they were both very competitive and determined to outdo each other.
After high school, Calvin and Tyler go their separate ways. Calvin goes on to become a successful businessman while Tyler takes a detour and ends up in a dead-end job. However, when the two of them try out for the same college basketball team, their rivalry is reignited and they must face off against each other once again.
The two of them must battle it out on the court to prove who deserves to be on the team. As the competition intensifies, they must also learn to work together and trust each other in order to reach their goals.
The film follows the two of them as they learn to put their differences aside and become teammates. Along the way, they discover the importance of friendship, teamwork, and sportsmanship. In the end, both of them come to realize that they have been given a second chance to prove themselves and that they can be successful if they work together.
