Synopsis/Plot
A Place in the Sun is a 1951 American drama film based on the 1925 novel An American Tragedy by Theodore Dreiser. Directed by George Stevens, the film stars Montgomery Clift, Elizabeth Taylor, and Shelley Winters.
The film follows George Eastman (Clift), a poor young man who moves to California to make a better life for himself.
