Synopsis/Plot
A Nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Child follows the continuing story of Freddy Krueger, the murderous dream-demon who haunts the dreams of a group of teenagers. In this fifth installment of the series, Freddy has set his sights on the unborn child of one of his potential victims, Alice Johnson. Freddy’s plan is to use the child as a portal into the real world, where he can wreak havoc on the living.
Alice and her friends must band together to try and stop Freddy before he can enter the real world. To do this, they must enter the dream world and confront Freddy on his own turf. Along the way, they must also face their own personal fears, as well as those of their unborn child, in order to save themselves and the world.
The Dream Child features some of the most intense and imaginative dream sequences in the series, as well as some of the most memorable kills. Robert Englund reprises his role as Freddy Krueger, and is joined by Lisa Wilcox as Alice, Kelly Jo Minter as Yvonne, and Erika Anderson as Greta.
