Synopsis/Plot
A Goofy Movie is a 1995 American animated musical comedy film directed by Kevin Lima. It is the first and only theatrically released film in the Goofy movie series and stars Bill Farmer, Jason Marsden, and Jim Cummings. The film follows Goofy, a single father, and his teenage son Max on a cross-country road trip. After Max is caught daydreaming in school, Goofy decides to take him on a fishing trip. However, when Max discovers that his favorite rock star, Powerline, will be performing at the Los Angeles Coliseum, he and his best friend, P.J., decide to take a detour and head to the concert instead. Along the way, Goofy and Max must deal with a variety of obstacles, including a jealous rival, a bumbling police officer, and a host of other misadventures. Ultimately, the two find themselves at the concert, where Goofy learns to understand and appreciate his son. A Goofy Movie is a heartwarming tale of family, friendship, and growing up. It features a catchy soundtrack, memorable characters, and plenty of laughs.
