Synopsis – What to Expect from “A Garfield Christmas Special”
A Garfield Christmas Special, released in 1987, follows the beloved Garfield as he celebrates his first Christmas with his new family.
Garfield is living with his new owner, Jon, and his dog Odie, and is excited to experience a real Christmas. He is determined to make it the best Christmas ever.
Garfield and Odie go on an adventure to find the perfect Christmas tree. Along the way, they meet a friendly fox named Squeak and a wise old owl who gives them advice. They eventually find the perfect tree, but it is too tall for them to carry home.
Garfield and Odie enlist the help of Squeak and his family of foxes to help them transport the tree home. They succeed and decorate the tree with lights and ornaments.
On Christmas Eve, Garfield and Odie go to church and are touched by the beautiful Christmas carols. They are also surprised to find Squeak and his family in the church.
When they get home, Garfield and Odie find a surprise gift from Santa Claus. They are both delighted and thank Santa for the wonderful gift.
The next morning, Garfield and Odie wake up to find that Santa has visited their house. They find presents under the tree and are filled with joy.
