Synopsis – What to Expect from “A Few Best Men”
A Few Best Men is a 2011 Australian comedy film directed by Stephan Elliott and written by Dean Craig. The film stars Xavier Samuel, Kris Marshall, Kevin Bishop, Rebel Wilson and Olivia Newton-John.
The film follows a young British man named David (Xavier Samuel) as he travels to Australia to marry his Australian fiancée Mia (Laura Brent). On his way to the wedding, David meets three of Mia’s best friends, Tom (Kris Marshall), Graham (Kevin Bishop) and Luke (Rebel Wilson). The three friends are eccentric and mischievous, and they quickly become David’s best men for the wedding.
The wedding is a disaster from the start, with David’s family and Mia’s family clashing. Things get even worse when the best men’s antics cause even more chaos and confusion. The wedding is almost cancelled, but with the help of David’s family and Mia’s grandmother (Olivia Newton-John), the wedding is saved.
The newlyweds go on their honeymoon, but the best men follow them, causing more trouble. Eventually, David and Mia manage to escape and enjoy their honeymoon. Meanwhile, the best men are left to fend for themselves in the Australian wilderness.
