Synopsis – What to Expect from “A Christmas Story 2”
A Christmas Story 2 is a 2012 American comedy film directed by Brian Levant and starring Daniel Stern, Braeden Lemasters, and Stacey Travis. The film is a sequel to the 1983 classic A Christmas Story. The movie follows the story of Ralphie Parker, now a grown man, and his wife, Randy.
Ralphie and Randy are struggling to keep their marriage alive, despite the pressures of their jobs and raising their two children. When Ralphie’s mother, Mrs. Parker, passes away, it’s up to Ralphie to take care of his father, The Old Man. The Old Man is determined to keep the family Christmas traditions alive and insists that Ralphie and Randy take him to the family’s old home in Cleveland for the holidays.
Once in Cleveland, Ralphie and Randy discover that the house has been rented to a young couple, who are expecting their first child. The couple is eager to make the house a home, but the Parker family soon realizes that the house holds many secrets and memories that they had long forgotten.
Ralphie, Randy, and The Old Man must find a way to keep their family traditions alive while also making the house a home for the young couple. Along the way, they encounter a host of characters, including a mysterious old woman who may hold the key to the Parker family’s past.
