8 Heads in a Duffel Bag is a dark comedy released in 1997. The movie follows Tommy Spinelli, a gangster who is hired to transport a duffel bag containing the severed heads of eight murder victims to a crime boss. However, things take a turn for the worse when the bag is accidentally switched with one containing the belongings of a vacationing family.
Tommy is forced to go on the run with the duffel bag, and he soon finds himself in the company of the family’s precocious 11-year-old son, Joe. With the help of Joe, Tommy attempts to find the real duffel bag and return the heads to their rightful owner. Along the way, Tommy and Joe are pursued by a variety of characters, including the crime boss, a pair of bumbling hitmen, and a mysterious woman.
