Synopsis/Plot
3:10 to Yuma is a 2007 American western drama film directed by James Mangold and starring Russell Crowe and Christian Bale. The film is based on a 1953 short story of the same name by Elmore Leonard.
The film follows a down-on-his-luck rancher, Dan Evans (Christian Bale), who takes on the dangerous task of escorting notorious outlaw Ben Wade (Russell Crowe) to the town of Contention to catch the 3:10 train to Yuma Prison. With Wade’s gang in pursuit, Evans and Wade must rely on each other to survive the harsh terrain and make it to the train on time.
The film is a tense, thrilling ride that explores themes of morality, justice, and redemption. It features strong performances from both lead actors, as well as powerful cinematography and a stirring score.
