Synopsis/Plot
12 Feet Deep is a 2017 psychological thriller directed by Matt Eskandari and starring Nora-Jane Noone, Alexandra Park, and Tobin Bell. The film follows two sisters, Bree and Jonna, who are stuck in an abandoned, partially-flooded swimming pool with no way out. With the water rising and the air quickly running out, the sisters must find a way to escape before they drown.
The film opens with Bree and Jonna sneaking into an abandoned swimming pool to go swimming. However, they soon find themselves in a life-or-death situation when the pool begins to rapidly fill with water. With no way out, the sisters must find a way to escape before the water rises too high. As they work together to find a way out, the sisters must also battle their own fears and anxieties as they come to terms with their own mortality.
