Synopsis – What to Expect from “12 Angry Men”
12 Angry Men is a courtroom drama set in New York City in the 1950s. The movie follows the story of 12 jurors who are tasked with deciding the fate of a young man accused of murdering his father. The jury is made up of 11 men and one woman, all of whom have different opinions and backgrounds.
The movie opens with the jury being instructed to reach a unanimous decision in the case. The jurors then proceed to discuss the evidence presented in the case. During the discussion, it becomes clear that the jurors are divided in their opinions. Some of the jurors think the young man is guilty, while others think he is innocent.
The discussion continues with several of the jurors making arguments for and against the young man’s guilt. As the discussion progresses, the jurors begin to realize that the evidence presented is not as clear-cut as it initially seemed. With the stakes rising, the jurors become increasingly hostile as they debate the evidence and the merits of the case.
As the movie progresses, the jurors gradually come to a consensus about the young man’s guilt or innocence. However, one juror remains unconvinced and refuses to change his opinion. This juror begins to challenge the assumptions of the other jurors and eventually causes the jury to reconsider their verdict.
The movie culminates in a powerful climax as the jurors come to a unanimous decision about the young man’s guilt or innocence. The movie ends with the jurors leaving the courtroom,
