Synopsis – What to Expect from “10 Years”
10 Years is a romantic comedy-drama set in the present day that follows the lives of a group of high school friends as they reunite for their 10-year reunion.
The story begins with Jake (Channing Tatum), a successful businessman, who is married to his high school sweetheart, Jess (Jenna Dewan Tatum). As they prepare to attend their 10-year reunion, they reflect on their past and how much they have changed since they were in high school.
At the reunion, the friends reunite and catch up on the last 10 years of their lives. Some of them have had success, some have failed, and some are still trying to figure out what they want to do with their lives. Jake and Jess struggle to keep their marriage alive in the face of their growing differences.
Meanwhile, Cully (Chris Pratt), a former jock, has become a struggling musician. He reconnects with his old crush, Mary (Rosario Dawson), who is now a single mother. Cully and Mary find themselves drawn to each other, and they begin a relationship.
The reunion also brings back Marty (Justin Long), a former geek who is now a successful entrepreneur. He meets his old friend, AJ (Max Minghella), a former high school bully who is now struggling to make ends meet. Marty and AJ eventually become friends, and Marty helps AJ to get back on his feet.
