TiE Delhi- NCR is all set to organize India’s most exciting Internet gathering on 4th April 2014, at the lush Leela Ambience, Gurgaon. India Internet Day (IID) 2014 is the third edition of the forum which allows Internet junkies from all over the country to connect with the established players of the Internet industry and educates them on the potential opportunities that are queued up in the digital economy.
Founded in 1992 by a team of entrepreneurs, executives and senior professionals, TiE is a non-profit trade group with a mission to foster entrepreneurship. With 61 chapters across 17 countries, the total membership of the networking forum exceeds up to 11,000. Over the last 10 years, the Delhi chapter of TiE has emerged as one of the most vibrant chapters in the entire TiE network by drawing in stakeholders and promoting entrepreneurship.
IID is a platform to discover the recent pattern shifts in the global Internet industry, the influences it has on the indigenous Internet economy and explore some of the changes that might hit the digital industry in the coming days. IID 2014 will be presided over by some of the luminaries selected from different realms. At the center stage will be the opening keynote by VSS Mani– MD and CEO, JustDial and an exclusive keynote by the Asia Pacific Head of Deutsch Bank. IID 2013 successfully emerged as a platform for Internet players from all around the globe to meet and share best practices and determine the future trends in the industry. IID 2014 focuses on some of the trending topics in mobile communication. The event will have panel discussions by marquee speakers on building great businesses on a shoestring, mobile payment, companies pushing boundaries to build scale and personal brands in social media. The cynosure, however, will be the discussion on Internet Marketing for Political Brands.
The event will host a closed-door CEO/ Founders’ forum at lunch where all the leading Internet entrepreneurs in India will have a mind-boggling session on topics related to policy, scaling up, funding / exits, marketing and personnel.
