With a Flurry of Instagram News, Jivaldi Releases its Backup App for iPhone

With Instagram users worried about the safekeeping of their photos, Jivaldi announced today the launch of its Grambacker App for iPhone, the only Instagram backup tool in the App store that allows users to easily backup their photos to Dropbox. Once in Dropbox, users can organize, print and share their photos with friends and family. Facebook explicitly states in their updated Instagram Terms of Use page: “Consequently, Instagram encourages you to maintain your own backup of your Content. In other words, Instagram is not a backup service and you agree that you will not rely on the Service for the purposes of Content backup or storage.”

Instagram is attracting more and more users daily — over 80 million users to date — and allowing users to creatively treat their photos online like photography professionals. Adults love it, kids love it – the Jivaldi team included. But the Jivaldi team specifically wanted to back up their photos to Dropbox.

“After spending hours upon hours enjoying the creative realm of Instagram with families and friends, our team looked for an easy way to backup our Instagram photos to Dropbox. Our Grambacker App provides an ultra simple way of doing this,” said James Ivaldi, Founder at Jivaldi. Matt Hoiland, lead developer at Jivaldi, artist and musician concurred: “We were looking for an app to quickly backup Instagram images to a cloud service and couldn’t find anything that worked directly on the iPhone—so we made one ourselves!”

Many customers have already benefited from downloading Jivaldi’s Grambacker App for iPhone. “Perfect, “ stated App Store user TheBlueWaterFarm. “Great app. Simple and quick. Was looking for something just like this to back up all the memories.” Grambacker App for iPhone is available for immediately download on iTunes for $ .99.
