Well, I gave it a bit to make sure nothing was written out of the way, but nearly a day later, I am still confused about the new iPad that Apple just launched.
I keep going back to Apple’s website to look, but nothing has changed. I feel very empty this morning and off the Apple roller coaster for a moment. With all of the anticipation about the iPad 3 the iPad HD or what ever was “next” in the iPad lineup, well, Apple under delivered.
Not sure what this is all about, even though a statement from Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing, found over on a article at Fox News this morning saying “because we don’t want to be predictable.” leaves me agreeing.
I believe that to be one thing people like about Apple though, some predictability features. Why? Because it gives Apple enthusiasts something to wait on, it gives the feeling of the next big thing, the next level.
So, feeling cheated might be an understatement here. What has led Apple to become what it has today? The line of services, the brilliance of the company and the star filled product launches. But. not this time. A suggestion to Apple to stop and reconsider the thought process. Naming works. Stick with what works.
In the time being, I will keep refreshing my browser to see if it is just a cookie problem.
