It looks like AT&T has now put the Samsung Galaxy Note LTE as a pre-order available item, with the 5.3 inch tablet-phone hybrid to be released on February 19th.
Coming in at just under $300.00, the new smartphone will be priced at $299.99 with a two year phone contract, and comes in either white or carbon blue. Also sporting a 1280 x 800 display and digital pen accessory, the Samsung Galaxy Note has the capability of an all-in-one device hybrid that gives you the ability to draw on photos and video clips.
While it won’t however support Ice Cream Sandwich (the latest Android OS version) it will ship with Android 2.3, which is the Gingerbread OS and Samsung’s trademark TouchWiz interface. According to an article at Mashable, it will have 4G support.
No one can seam to place the new Samsung Galaxy Note LTE as a small tablet or a smartphone, as due to size and digital pen feature, the Note could be placed in either category. Perhaps it is time to set a new category of tablet phones or something. Many witnessed the launch of the Galaxy Note during the Super Bowl commercial Sunday evening as Samsung attempts to eye the iPhone crowd for market share.
